If you ever need screws to support your shelves this is a pretty cheap solution. I went to Ace hardware with an existing screw post to match up the screw size. Here is what I did.
10-24 x 1/2 inch Socket cap screws (8x)
and some clear 5/16 tubing for a spacer to keep the glass from sitting directly on the metal and either scratching or clipping an breaking.
Base screw
With clear sleeve from tubing.
Final result, solid support that wont scratch on the glass.
