These are all the photos I have available. The price great and the owner says he bought them new. Are they real? Can you tell without looking at the inside?

Looks like a Ducati.
Ducati should be etched into the left lens.
With some luck it has a Serial on the left arm. Ask for the box, coin and paperwork.

I just completed my journey picking up my these Juliet’s. I drove my 68 Vette from south Orlando to Springhill. Basically across the state. 15 mins into the trip over Melania (the vette) over heated. I found I didn’t secure the radiator cap completely so coolant went everywhere. Thankfully there was a large retention pond nearby. I had to make 7-10 trips up down the interstate embankment to get water in my blender bottle. Back on the road the pond water did the job for the full round trip.

The Juliet’s are very nice with normal wear on the ear socks and the nose bridge is loose. The looser bridge actually allows the glasses to sit better on my face lol.

The owner said he bought them in the early 2000’s and didn’t wear them much. He did not have the box, coin etc.. he did have a brand new set of what appears to be fire iridium lenses hitch he said he got when bought the glasses. Are some closer shots including the SN

Nice. you have a pair of 2nd Gen Plasma/Fire Juliets. AS you already mentioned, has different lenses, and what looks like some either old Ducati red rubbers or aftermarket replacement rubbers.

Take em apart, clean em up, get a rubber kit, and enjoy!

edit: looking at the pics, definitely an aftermarket kit. Oakley didn't make colored gaskets.

I’m just relieved they are real. I guess he swapped the original fire lenses for the dark ones. But I understand the colored gasket set not being original. The pads are black.

Congrats on the Juliet, quite an adventure, but Jesus pond water in your 68 Vette? I imagine you know about cars, but in case you don’t: have you drained the pond water, added distilled water, run it, drained it again and added more distilled water or proper coolant?
