C six aluminum frame

I’m considering purchasing a pair of like new C six aluminum frame. I have never tried on or seen a pair in person. So my questions are...
1) Are they truly amazingly designed worthy of $$$$’s?
2) What is a fair price?

If memory serves me right they sold new for 1500.00 from Oakley correct?

The last two full set C-6 Alum. I know of sold for less then $2500,- in mint condition.
