Gen 1 Eye Jacket 1.0 with unmarked arms?

This it not a sale, just a question. Can anyone answer whether this is a thing?

I have a pair of Gen 1 Eye Jacket 1.0 glasses that were purchased at a bike shop that appeared to be an authorized dealer in the late 90s, but the arms have no text on the insides. Just looking at all the photos out there, I see they all seem to have “jacket” on the left side, and “Made in U.S.A.” on the right. The glasses don’t seem fake, as the lenses seem to be Oakley iridium and the build is otherwise the same as other Gen 1 eye jacket 1.0s.

My questions is are these are real or some sort of quality fake? Just searching the forum, I couldn’t find anything on unmarked arms. Thanks.

New Eye Jackets (2nd gen) do.
Originals have just raised/painted icons.

Is there any reason for it not to have the inside markings, special or something?

Some of the early production runs didn’t have them

This has been discussed here a few times... the earliest pairs as stated do not have the inside of the arms marked and will not have a clear coat on them.
