Best method for safely removing stems? The “pins” look directional and I think that’s the ticket. Am I correct? I don’t want to break new stuff but I’m disappointed in my OCP with black tortoise. It’s just printed on the plastic so I want to paint the frame.

I’m pretty sure they’re not directional, just pop on and off. I recall reading a thread where this was discussed, and somebody mentioned that the way they used to test if a frog was real was to rip off the arm and if it popped back on it was real haha

Yeah I don't recall there being a certain direction to remove a frog stem at all. I just always pulled them apart quickly if it was required.
