How To Stop Getting E-Mails

so I thought I had my alert preferences set where I don’t receive an email for every little thing, but yet I am still receiving them. How do I make it where the site only shows me alerts instead of sending emails for everything?

I only get emails when I click on the “watch thread” and I request emails. Have you don’t that lately?

If I reply to a thread does it automatically watch it for me?

And yeah, I thought I unticked all the “receive email” options.

Yes it should... well it does for me at least. Like right now I am technically “watching” even though I didn’t subscribe.

Go to the top of the thread and select Unwatch Thread.

Any threads you were already watching when you disabled email notifications will still send email notifications. You need to unwatch and re-watch each thread individually to reset them.
