I’m sure you can also tell.
If you are selling and they have been refurbished it should be mentioned at the time of sale.... I would hope.

You can even see the difference in mine and the refurbished and I think my leather is about as good as it gets. Never worn, never displayed.
The refurbished leather is much darker.
I am not a big fan of this. Might as well throw some etched X Metal non OEM lens in a 4 digit R1, and say its good.
