Just enough to cover the phony purchase which was never successful so I had cancelled it immediately

Offer up is horrible, if there's a scam, from the sale offer up will not step in, let seller/ buyer keep back and forth until one side get tired, when I have purchased from another state I always ask the seller to open a PayPal account and pay G&S to be safe, or buy sale locally, never shipped. Don't recommend offer up payment platform...is horrible. ( Ps offer up is full of fake Oakley)
