Maybe it's getting oxidized? My X Metal XX 24k has some slight color variations around the orbitals too. I'll try to take a pic when i get home later today.

Not sure on the oxidation. The color difference is very slight and the finish looks perfect yet. I am starting to think that's just maybe the way it was made.
