Oakley Tailend quality

Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing the Tailends because they remind me of the Oakley Mars. Can any members tell me how their pair has held up over the years? Any issues I need to be aware of? Pictures of them being worn?
Should I save my money for a pair of Mars?

What has kept me from the Tailend (!) is the unique lens shape/mount.
If/when Lux decides to stop making the model, who will be able to make lenses?
Mars lenses OTOH, are quite straightforward, and easily customed.
Save for the Mars, and be happy.

Agree with @flyer; they're too fidlley to make them worth copying, just avoid.

Thank you! I think that's what I'm going to do. I love how the Mars looks like it could survive a war. I can't say the same about the Tailend.

Imo tailend are much better than mars, they are lighter, they have much better fit on face glasses look better on most different people faces, they match different styles of clothes and lenses are just awesome.
