So here’s a question. How long did Oakley use this for Made in USA after stopping the molded text before going to the USA Made logo? My later Holbrooks had no reference to Made in USA and I will say probably due to the matte texture, these ones feel higher quality to me. Seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find USA made Oakleys. I assume the reason for the print is so they can use the same base mold in more that one factory instead of completely retooling just for US manufacturing.

Curious on this unicorn... they seem a bit off, lenses give me more a 24k vibe than fire? Overall color looks a bit more golden/pale - honestly seems more like those Hotspot Yellow pair from the aquatique collection someone mistook as SBY a while back (here) but has since painted the inner arm a slightly lighter shade and cloned the SBY sku. Maybe it's just the photos, but would appreciate some insight before I shoot them an offer.

Opinions?

Its only going to continue to be harder seeing as production has been moved overseas a while ago, it's been covered a number of times regarding various models including the brooks.

As far as I know they never just printed it, it was always embossed into the frame... seeing that photo has me leaning heavily to them being fake.

Originally they were embossed Made In USA, later the arms were left blank (or made in china) now you may see on newer model a red badge set into the temple with USA Made or USA Assembled in white text.

Look over this post, it will likely make it a bit clearer but to me those look fake... The arm looks shorter than normal, the written vs embossed text seems iffy.. Is there an embossed 'O' in the temple tip? How to Spot Fake Oakley Holbrooks

They’re from a known seller. I’ve had them a couple years now. Os in the temples. I don’t have a picture off hand of those but I do have these pictures as well from the same pair. If they are fake they feel nicer than the other later pairs of Holbrooks I’ve owned. Lenses are Chrome Iridium polarized. I swapped out the warm grey lenses for them.

I thought your main question was regarding the 'made in USA' text on the arms, so I provided you a bunch of threads which should provide you the required info to determine upon what year or point in the sku they stopped embossing it into the frame. The only exception of made in USA written out instead of embossed were wires (duh) and some S.I. specific models like the shock tubes...

Did you take the time to check them against this checklist?

IF they pass then you're fine and have answers to both your questions

This is the same pair, and it doesn't seem to have a printed made in use on the inner arm... As previously stated I haven't see that scripture on any brooks, always embossed or plain.

Hey guys! I made an account literally so I could post this.
My boyfriend lost his Oakley Enduros from 2014 and I really wanted to get him a new pair. I found these on Poshmark and they looked super legit and the seller had a good rating. Just posting here to see if anyone can confirm that they are real? The SKU number matches and they seem legit from the videos I’ve seen on how to spot fake ones but I’ve never owned a pair of Oakley’s or anything. They also have the little O at the end of each temple that I’ve read they’re supposed to have. I attached all the pictures I could.
