Watched Vertigo the other night. It was listed at BFI's number one movie of all time and it came on TV so I wanted to make sure I gave it a shot. And... it was undewhelming to say the least. It's not terrible but not great by any stretch from what I saw. After watching it, I thought about other 'classics' that have gotten so much recognition over the years and how some of them did nothing for me and others, while enjoyable, just seem massively overrated.
The films I mention here are beloved. They all got great reviews and are considered classics. But they did nothing for me at all. I'm sure others have their own and I'd love to see what they put down. Anyways, in no order:

LA Confidential

The Graduate

Rebel Without a Cause
