Removing The Stems From Frogskins?

Anyone have any advice on how best/easiest to remove the stems from the Frogskins frame? In a way that doesn't cause any damage and also lets them be put back on with the same fit?

Thanks in advance.

i position my thumb underneath the top beveling on the hinge and push that up as I twist the stems up and away from the frames. If the orbital and stem are perpendicular tilt the stems in the same direction the line that the orbital draws outward. Typically no problem doing it this way. Over time it will wear out the pegs and can lead to lose frogskins which usually can not be fixed. Its usually tighter on a new pair too.

I used the guitar pick and twist method. Works a charm.

Cheers fellas.
