Was a little bored this past weekend. Being on call after hours and weekends until July 3rd kind of confines me to being within 15 minutes of my job site at all times.So I decided it was time to freshen up a couple pairs of beaters. A $30 Pit Bull and a $28 Straight Jacket. Both had seen better days.

I have been thinking of trying to customize a pair. What/ how do you prep the frames so that the paint will adhere?

Pretty much what you need to know is in this section of the forum. You just need to do a little research and you'll find all the answers you need. I've given advice to other members in the past and it's come back to bite me in the @ss. They would end up taking shortcuts or being impatient and totally eff up their frames, then insinuate that it was my fault.
Painting is something I did for a living and it takes time and practice to get it right.
