@Jakeracefox Actually it's a little of this, and some of that. Then a whole bunch of "I wonder what happens if I do this". Then a final coat of prayer...lol. Theres really no red in it at all.

Very carefully and just very, very lucky. I figured I didn't really have anything to lose seeing as how it was getting painted anyway. So I closed my eyes and shot some candy orange over it, to see what would happen, and that's what it came out like. It was a matte black frame with silver script.
