🦘What Oakley Vaults Fit Which X-Metals?

Thanks @Jmgarcia just tried putting my Juliet in there, no bueno. Guess I’ve got to get another x-metal soft vault.

get the same ones but hollowed out, those should fit most x metals. You make have to stretch the zip over the ear stem ends but they’ll hold. Or buy a dedicated x metal soft vault.

I’d rather go dedicated, they’re deserving of it.

The array case fits the R1. Believe it's the same as the crossrange case.

Array/cross range box vault
Pro M-Frame box vault
Wind Jacket Soft Vault
Radar Soft vault (Kinda - WJ fits better due to layout)
Split Jacket Soft Vault (just barely)
Flak Jacket Soft Vault (yes but tight by temple tips)
Flak Jacket Hallow Soft Vault (Soft foam inside lid otherwise blank)
Blank Soft Vault (Loose inside - Top Foam fits snugger imo)

What the... I just found out Romeo 1 does NOT fit in an X-metal soft vault!?

When folded in, the intake ports are so wide that zipping up the vault puts quite a lot of sideways pressure on the frame, eventually causing spidercracks in the lenses...

Does anybody share my experience?

There are two different sized X metal soft vaults. Which one do you have?

Well, I guess the small one, then. It's about 7.5" outside.

I bought it second hand, no idea to which model it came with originally. Bought my R1 recently and as far as I could see it had no spider cracks prior to casing it, now it has, slightly :-/

Maybe I should get some new foam for my squared X-metal vault. :-D

Send a picture of the vault.

I’m not sure if the larger one causes the issue to. If you do have the small one you must have stuffed that baby in there.
