Could be. But they seem to pop out more easily than the juliets for some reason. And the juliet shaped t-shocks pop out more easily than the factory XS t-shocks.

I have a feeling it's because the smaller inner gap is slightly smaller than the factory juliet rubbers.

You guys are amateurs. It's actually pretty easy...as long as it isn't an oversizedAmerican. It also helps if you saw the arms and legs off first.

What about the orbitals breaking? Or the ear stems being too short?

The ear stems could be longer..... that or the rubber needs to be over the tip (TWSS)
