Geez this went south. I am from the UK and watched the Super Bowl since 1985. I can calculate in Centimeters/ meters and feet and yards just fine as well as Fahrenheit and Centigrade.
I learnt by watching and playing Madden and event Joe Montana Sportstalk Football.
and the US keeping Imperial measurements was not the best idea….

US Military uses the metric system. Since 1918!
Simply because it is a more accurate system for measuring distances.
