Affordable Rx Lens Replacements for Sunglasses?

Hi, I just got a prescription for the first time and I'm wondering what options there might be for quality, affordable prescription lens replacements for Oakley sunglasses frames. I have a couple of pairs of Mainlink XL frames that I'd still like to use if possible. I'd appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Welcome.
If you want quality then you're in the right place and I'd recommend getting an Oakley lens with your Rx. Not all opticians are authorized to make Oakley lenses so you'd have to shop around to see which ones are able to make them for you.
The other option is to get the optician's in-house lens which can be of good quality but won't be an Oakley lens. User Chris A Hardaway can help you with that.
Keep in mind however, if you decide to go the Authentic Oakley Rx Lenses, not all Prizm Lenses are available in Rx. With that said, your next step is to see which lens you want installed in the Mainlink XL. Ask yourself, do you want polarized or not, how dark/light do you want them to be, what activity am I doing, what environment will I be in etc...
From there, you can make an informed decision and then see if they can make them into Rx.

I need Rx lenses for Oakley shocktubes but am not having any luck. not even Oakley Si will sell them

Do you know why Oakley wont sell replacement Rx lenses
I just got lenses for my Oakley Holbrooks. The Oakley store in Overland Park Kansas had a pair of near clear frames on hand. So I ordered the lenses from Oakley and they shipped them to the store and they put the lenses in the frames at the store. Maybe Oakley knew I bought frames as well. I don't know.

That is great. My local Oakley store said they couldnt do it and Oakley SI customer service said the same thing. Maybee it is cause of the style of glasses. I will have to talk to my local store again

I’m not sure if they’ll do them for games you didn’t purchase from the,, but it appears SportRx.com does them.

Are you using the glasses as an Rx safety glass for work purpose, if so go to a reputable optometrist that deals with Oakley products they should be able to sort you out dependant on what your actual RX script is based as.

I use the Shocktubes as safety eyewear at work and was asked by My local OPSM store if I wanted them as Rx due to my slow deteriorating eye sight, I said no though, as I just use my normal Rx glasses to read small print at the moment, but at least they offered me it when purchasing the Shocktubes through them.
