Alabama Snow vs Oakley Carbon X Thermal Base layer

It actually snowed good enough here in Alabama that I pulled out a set of Oakley Carbon X Thermal Base layers. The old Fire retardant ones for racing. I bought these off the old Vault site about 20 years ago and I have never worn them. Well the snow and Temps were no match. These things are HOT. After about an hour of playing with the kids. I had to go in to strip these things off and go back out to cool off.

I got a set for my wife at the same time that my 15 year old son has been wearing for baseball in cold temps for the past 4 seasons. Now I know why he never got cold.
