I'm a newbie on the Forum and tend to be more a reader.
Also I'm a wearer (XM), not a collector as many of you are.
I'm writing on this thread this time cause I'm looking to get a Mars Crater (I'm sure it's Lopaka KaMars's fault hahaha) and this auction caught my eye and enthusiasm, with some doubt, obviously by the starting price factor, I'm following it now just of pure curiosity to see how it ends. Yesterday, one bidder increased the bidding for no reason at all, he wasn't competing with anyone, you can see the bid history and get your own conclusions, also, I think eBay just allows you to bid for an item up to 7 times.

Just remember Mars are for smaller heads. You can always get hammer stems to make them fit better. Lopaka is to blame for the Crater Craze. Lol

It's still an interesting auction, if everything is real. Just consider what would be the lowest you would pay for each piece, then add them up. I'm sure that number is considerably higher than where the auction is right now.

The auctions almost always end low until the last seconds of the auction, when everyone tries to be the last bidder hoping to win at their best offer that they are willing to pay. It is interesting however as you say, to see how much someone who wants the collection the most. I would hope you would score a deal as a package deal $$.

The leather on the MARS is not original. Definitely not the original stitching pattern on the nose bridge nor the original suede…hmmm
