Picked up a Black Minute 2.0. Fits great, better than my daily SJ 2.0
These 2.0 models took some time for me to come around on, but I like to think of them as Jim’s swan song. The SJ 2.0 and Minute 2.0 were both released on November 6th, 2007. Luxottica’s semi-hostile takeover was finalized on November 15th 2007, and the design>development>manufacturing process likely began in late 2006, with moldmaster McKinney finishing tooling, molding & production by early fall 2007. But that’s just what I can piece together.
Anyways, my question is this - why are these so expensive? Compared to the earlier iterations & generations, it’s rare to find these under 200, many are well above that. Earlier generation/model authentic Minutes easily go into that range, but there are plenty under 200.
