Brain Dead Straight Jacket & Plantaris

I must admit im loving mine, the grey frame and red lenses are so nice, I don’t mind the white flames tbh but if they had been blue and red like gas flames I think I might have shot my bolt
Im glad! Flames on straight jackets is the best innovation since sliced bread! Im a sucker for flame jackets so whatever they drop ill probably get😆 hope they do a more exciting color flame

I emailed Oakley about the BD Plantaris showing 30% off until you add it to you cart, then it’s full price again.

I bought mine direct from BD (never again!) so I’m screwed, but maybe this info will help one of you….

Echoing everyone else's sentiments that the Plantaris looks really different in-person than in the renderings. Here's a better idea of what it looks like under direct sunlight, compare that to the website listing and it's like two different colorways almost

This has been going on for many years at this point. Outside of black and white, unless they have a pair featured on a human model or similar the color will always been at minimum a shade off the renders they use for photos now. Whomever is doing their color-grading has a unique perspective or they are doing for a specific reason like trying to slow counterfeiters getting the colors just right.

An interesting hypothetical.

That's the only reason I can think of as to why they would continue to obviously have such variances between renders and final product actually for sale for this many years. Especially when other companies go out of their way to have the actual product on full display on their sites when online shopping (only) is such a large part of the business for most markets now.

You make a valid and pertinent argument.
