Mine is not serialized, it is a sample as the seller said.
The wooden box was past trashed so I told the seller to keep it as long as he sends the plate.

I have also picked up # 1374. No box, just frames.

I still have 1340 but not box, picked up a box awhile ago for 1074. So maybe one day can find a matching box or pair for the box in here.

I would say a mint and complete set would fetch £1750 currently.
I have seen one sell locally to me about six months ago for over £2k but I think the seller got lucky.

Hi Mark,

That kind of Mirrors what I thought. I had a one time member on here who I have had a couple of items off who has a multitude of pairs for me to choose. He believes he is doing me a favour at 2K for a pair where as you have concurred they are in my mind around that figure.

I am still trying to convince myself I actually like the look of them enough to take "the plunge"

Without actually having a Touch & feel & try on first it's tricky to commit.
