Not just old guys. I ride a Harley and Polarized lenses could prevent me from seeing an oil spot on the road and cause me to spill. I hate polarized. There's alot of us that don't like them, not just old guys. I'm probably younger than you.
While playing tennis and coaching soccer (playing when my body lets me), I cannot wear polarized lenses. I need to be able to see rotation on the ball, and polarization makes reading the spin hard. I only use polarized for driving and when I am on the boat.

Ya it's great for on the water but that's about the only time I like it. I'm in FL and have dark tint on all my vehicles and polarized makes it look blotchy.

Dark tint up here in NY is illegal. And since I am an elected official (even though it is an unpaid office), I don’t need people talking about me getting away with dark tint when they pull cars over up here for it left and right.

It's illegal here too but the fuzz has become relaxed with it since it's so damn hot and bright...

It's illegal in California too, but **** it, it's California so people get away with it. Unless you're driving an expensive car..

Polarized has its benefits but a lot of the time, it's useless. The iridium coating already works so well at cutting out glare without making things appear "flat".

That being said, I do prefer Polarized but I no longer scoff at non-polarized like I used to.

Perhaps I should try some non-polarized. I’ve just always viewed them being a cheaper product and why not use the best, polarized. Never thought there would be so many cons to polarized lenses.
