Disappointed with Fuse lenses

Hi all,
I have always heard great things about Fuse lenses so during one of their recent online sales I purchased a set of cosmic mirror and AMP glaciers for my e-wire 2.1 and c-wire 1.0 and to my surprise neither set of lenses fit the frames.

The lenses are too large by a margin of 1-2mm in diameter so the orbitals don't meet. I've sent them an email about it, awaiting a response.

Anyone else had issues with Fuse lenses not fitting ?

I’ve purchased a LOT of Fuse lenses…and while they are not fast (each is made to order I guess) I’ve never had a pair not fit to my memory. Also a bit slow on responses…had an extra long wait last time for some reason for COMMO and my order.

Had one pair of REVANTs not fit…quick respond and fast replacement.

While O-Matter frames are pretty consistent, you will find a much greater size variance with Wire frames. It's just due to how they're manufactured. The best thing about Fuse is, they go to extremes to try to make it right. They will cut new lenses for you, and if they still don't fit, they will bring your frames in to be custom-traced and fitted for lenses. That's just how it is... I've fitted hundreds of pairs of Wires with lenses, and they vary in size. I've had a dozen of the exact same model, and lenses would fit correctly in some of them, but not all of them. I've also had many fitting issues with X-Metals in the past. @docrusty and I have seen R1 lenses that fit one frame perfectly, but have a greater than 1mm gap in another frame.

Are there any lens-cutters in your country? Just curious.

How much were they?
$50AUD for the Cosmic mirror and $65 for the AMP Glacier

yeah it was quite a lengthy wait for these to arrive (approx 5 weeks total) the quality of the lenses are absolutely fantastic it would just be nice if they actually fit the damn frames 🤣

Yeah i have never had an issue with anything O-Matter or X-Metal related it's usually the wire frames that can be a bit iffy from what i've experienced, one of the Revant lenses for a square wire of mine has some slight gaps on the sides but nothing to really complain about. One set of a-wire thick lenses had a protrusion to one side but i managed to sand it down and it got it to fit.

Im confident Fuse will be able to sort this out they seem like a stand up crew.

And no there aren't really any lens cutters down here from what im aware of anyway.

I second this.
I had a pair of Wardens that it took them two tries to get the size right, but they got it at no extra cost; just had to wait a little longer to wear them.

The only X-Metal aftermarket lenses I ever had successful fits with were Linegear and custom cuts. I even had OEM R1 and Half-X lenses not fit frames correctly.
