thats what im lookin for.

since oakley is incapable and unwilling to supply the customers with this piece, im quiet in a desperate situation.

on my beloved ~8y old radarlock the nosepiece broke (where the rubber sits on) i tried to epoxy it back together but 1st try failed.

i looked everywhere, no success. is there anyone who has an idea, who diy´s them? dont know what to do. salvage a used model?
bcuz oakley refuses to supply this 20cent piece of plastic?

Got a pic of it?

hey bonz: thats weird since that dude Rcga32 in my other thread said explicitly, the EV part is not fitting. is your information verified? it would widen the models i can look for to maybe salvage as a last resort.

ZCforge: sure, here you go:

Same happened to me, I was able to JB weld it and it is working for the past year or so. I can still see the grey line from the epoxy but that is minor. It would be nice to find a replacement…

warcelo: exactly. only that i wasnt successfull in JB-welding. i tried 2 times, 1st try: only cleaning the parts with isopropyl alcohol, broke while trying to click it back on the frame. 2nd try i used some 180 sandpaper to coarsen up the areas where i put the epoxy on, waited 24h, tried to click it back on, broke. only thing left is to glue it directly onto the frame.... i can tell, that the glueseam is very delicate and doesnt withstand much tension so be very carefull with it.

msgt oakley: yes please do so, id be happy to order from you :p

rudedogg: i wonder if its possible to 3d-print them since the shape is utterly bizarre.
i am totally clueless when it comes to 3d-printing.
