Congrats on the pickups! I recommend you don’t do the pins yourself. You’re gonna mess up the nose bridge. @THE X-MAN could get it done for you safely. Just my 2 cents

Well, I had to improvise for both removing and pushing the new pins, but first pair is done. With the Plasma one I might hold on to get the LG pusher or do it another day.
I think it's quite a clean job, but one of the orbitals has a bit more play than the other.

I came on the forum just as I started looking for my first pair of X-Metals, and here we are!

Took a while to get both pairs in hand, but the day has come:
1st pair: 1st gen Plasma (bone?) with Fire Iridium lenses, with box, coin & papers
2nd pair: 4th gen X-Metal with Ruby Iridium lenses

Both pairs will get a refresh soon, received all the spare parts from @SEAN WAYNE (huge thank you!) and waiting now for the pin pusher to arrive.

Pics are not amazing, but I'll come with a new set as soon as both pairs have been refreshed.
