At one time I kept my glasses in an area of my closet, that if the door was not closed, would catch sunlight in the mornings. And it was just a small area. But a lot of my (Oakley) lenses in that area delaminated fast, before I realized what was happening. Perhaps something similar happened where a bunch of glasses was subjected to a little sun everyday.
