Hello everyone! A Millenial/GenZ-er (at the cusp of both 1996) who hated Oakley but now I am full on addicted, pretty much religious tbh

Grew up with a father who was obsessed with Oakley but since he was a blue collar worker w 2 kids and a wife, he never really could afford to buy the Oakleys he wanted but he did have a pair of OG Mumbos and some FMJ XX Twenty's. It wasn't until recently (2 months ago) that I started wearing sunglasses, but never thought about Oakleys. As the title states, I was a hater. Thought Oakleys looked like you were about to go play Airsoft. However my father bestowed upon me the XX Twenty's and the rest is history!

Was always into sci-fi or things that pushed the boundaries and let me tell you, vintage Oakley was just that (which I'm sure you all know already)! Now, the person that my father was who loved Oakley lives through me and even more I would say haha. I went on a complete bender and bought a bunch of clothing and glasses. My first pair were the Piet x Oakley eyejackets and man did that pair take me from being a fan to borderline obsessed.

Anyhow, bought my yearly membership to the forum and looking forward to being part of the community! Will post in this thread a picture of my current collection, which is only just beginning

My current collection and then the one that started it all! Definitely will keep it growing, my goal is to have one of those multiple tier Oakley display cases and fill it up (eventually).

As for the XX Twentys, Dad lost the OG microfiber bag, and never kept the box but one thing he did was keep this in mint condition.

I do! Posting them below. I will say, these are not as high quality as the Piet or Satisfy ones. No SKU or nothing. I definitely think this is what happened w these pairs and why they "look cool" but not high quality at all. OR, I got played and they're fake haha (which I doubt)

I did haha! Idk before this never really spent my money, but searching and buying Oakley anything makes me feel like I'm a little kid again—always excited. It's dangerous .
