Help Identifying Rare Jawbone – Lime / Purple Colorway (Purchased 2009)

I don't think this is a mix of two different models like the 04-205 and 04-208.

One reason is that neither of those versions has a white Oakley logo on the earstem like mine does.

The colors also seem to match perfectly across the whole frame, which wouldn't be the case if two separate frames had been mixed. It looks more like a oakley id custom
What we mean by mixed is it has the purple jawbones from one pair, on the retina frame of another, color match isn't an issue. Socks and icons can be changed too.

It has the SKU for the Retina pair, and no Sample markings. It wouldn't have that SKU as a custom pair either.

From a conversation I had with another member a while back about a white chrome NSJ2 that had 04-329 sku but had black icons and plates instead of the red that should've come with originally.
These were bought from DE at a Vault, and to the best of my recollection, these were sent to the store as-is. At the time I worked in a store, we received a lot of DE that seemed like OCP rejects or weird one-off combinations that didn't line up with any production models. The way OCP was run was kind of a mess at the time, so anything seems possible, to be honest.

DE stood for "Discount Eyewear" (or Display Eyewear, depending on who you ask) that was a random collection of odds and ends that sometimes included odd OCP stuff, overstock, sales samples, and more. It was kind of a catch-all category that sometimes included some real gems. I think Vaults still do DE, so it can be a good way to pick up some pairs on the cheap, as long as you're lucky enough to find something you like.

Years ago I was able to talk a ski shop employee into swapping a goggle lens I wanted to buy into a different frame color, as they wouldn't outright sell me just the lens which is only reason I drove to that paritcuarl shop as no one places said they had the lens. So whomever bought the other pair of goggles I swapped with would be in similar circumstance to @newuseroaklover, granted goggles don't have sku numbers on the frames aware but could be another explanation.

Even if it is a sample pair, it's still just mixed up parts between the two SKUs I mentioned. Also, Samples are usually marked "Sample" on the frame near the SKU.

Sample doesn't necessarily net more worth either.
True, the sku # would physically have the word written in all caps SAMPLE like this NRJ pair I picked up recently here

How much would it be worth if I sold it?
The socks appear a bit discolored, if they aren't tacky/sticky to the touch you could possibly clean em up some with ISO wipes. If they are tacky to touch, you can try cleaning them up first and then boil them for a couple minutes it might restore them so they aren't sticky - but it should be noted in the listing that you cleaned up or that they will need replacing.

Assuming the VR28 Blue Iridium lenses are blemish free and don't have any peeling of the inner coating to right person those could be worth $45+/- on their own. If the frame has good snappy arms that don't sag when closed, and the icons and bolts are mark free... I'd say start at $145 but be open to offers.

My NOS frame in similar configuration (note there's no sku number) ended up selling on ebay, netted about 135 after fees.

I don't know how the picture shows it, but the rubber is not yellow, the glasses are flawless, scratch-free, practically new.

I haven’t seen anything anywhere close to that.

However the Purple Jaw’s go with a Pearl Upper/Arms If you happened across one.

Here’s a tell tale that they are real. Just inside the bolt is an O. Don’t think any fakes have an O on them.

@BoostBear could confirm one way or another.

So What do you think?

It might just be the insides that made contact with your head... but in this photo they seem a bit yellowed which is an unfortunate characteristic of white socks, they tend to show wear the most of all the other colors options.

If they're not tacky to the touch you can probably clean them.... or it's just that one photo.

Here's and example of some super worn M-Frame socks that were once bleach white, sandwiching a new white pair versus a slightly used pair. I took color swatch samples of the colors to give you better understanding of the yellowing I'm referring to...
