i stumbled upon this forum in my persuit for more knowledge about Oakley sunglasses i am a hobbyist and have amassed around 40 pairs of oakley sunglasses from various thrift stores in my area.all worn and some worn out, no boxes - just sheer grit. i have a couple questions about a few pairs i have, and will be sure to follow the rules in order to gain access to that privelage- these are not "legit check" questions at all, or looking to sell just exploring the (what i consider unique) history of a couple pairs ive recentley learned to appreciate more. ill add value and engagement when i can ( with limited real knowledge ) and remain sturdy in my repose.

By the look of the R1s nose bombs and a few other details those look to be fake. The TI juliet looks good though. I know you weren't asking for a legit check and its hard to see with the one photo but I dont recognize the finish on the R1, it's nose bombs, pointy tips on the stems or the text on the inside arms. It May just be me but its always good to stay educated and informed in any situation. Killer juliet though

Juliets are addictive. Most xmetals are. They are quite literally the best glasses ever produced. Find more if you can. Just be careful buying unless you are absolutely certain they are legit.

thanks for your reply, the nose rubbers have been sloppily glued on and the arms on the frames , when i found them were covered in a matte navy blue paint...

Oh yes definitely fake my friend. Thats ok. The juliet you have there is definitely legit. Perhaps in need of a tune but a tio2 juliet is one of my favorite ones.

This is a legit R1. I used to have 24 of them but i have since gotten down to 6 unfortunately. Pay no attention to the delam on the lenses. I literally wear this R1 3 or 4 times a week. I need to get myself new lenses for this one but its my kick around one. The serial number will be inside the nose bridge. Typically a regular xm will come with black rubbers as well. I just happened to purchase some red OEM ones last week from friend here..

Never be nervous or reluctant to ask legit checks here. People are Uber helpful and will not hesitate to steer you in the right direction..

P064300A thats the number on the juliets - the rivets are loose but still really comfortable.going to order some new transition lensese and enjoy them!!! thank you for input SoulfulFrog.
