They are consecutive based on order number. The difference is when one person just orders on frame (especially multiples of one frame) not both models the people who order both get different numbers for the 2 frames. So my Gig is 5 numbers earlier than my Jig because the Gig sold slower this time.I hear there is. Waiting on my jigs and gigs too !!!! USPS says Monday. Let’s hope so !! When M Ex first launched it was random. Now it is purely based on the order number.

Personally think it is kind of random, have checked a few past orders for numbered pairs and there doesn't appear to be any actual relevance to the order numbers and receiving the Serialed glasses that I can really distinguish upfront.
Maybe ((V)) are just being generous to purchases internationally and I am just getting a good spread of Serialed numbers when I do purchase (very much appreciate it, thankyou ((V))

Fair enough, however. On the Alpine release I ordered all 4 frames. Got Business and Pleasure 7, then Gigawatt and Jigawatt 8. @wilonghair68 got Gigawatt and Jigawatt 7. Next Question, who is trying to work out if they have the matching pairs that were used for the Release day drop Website photos, I am certainly gonna study my ass off to see if I have a matchy pair
So we worked out they do as @Resident Alien said match the number in sequence to the order placement. You can see where we all posted our order numbers in the early days on those threads to help each other have an idea of what number we got which was allot easier to do back then when 90% of the customers who bought at the moment of release were from this forum. Now it has spread to FB and other forums so just because I got the first order number doesnt mean I got the #6 like it use to. So no it in not random at all and I myself confirmed this in conversation with MEx folks. Not sure if they used a actual pair for their online picture or not... most pics have been AI computer generated but in this case they could have actually used one of the pairs... we will never know unless that person takes the time to look and match out every detail.Next Question, who is trying to work out if they have the matching pairs that were used for the Release day drop Website photos, I am certainly gonna study my ass off to see if I have a matchy pair
