M Frame Lens Advice

I had a little project a couple of years back to acquire some 90's M Frames. I was more bothered about getting mint frames than lenses.
Anyway, I sourced the frames at a price I was happy about, got genuine earsocks & nose but the original lens was scratched.
I took a punt on the mid range Revant lens which fit perfect but the optics were not entirely perfect. They were good, just not as good as I want. I noticed I couldn't read licence plates at a distance & initially thought I was tired but it was the lens.
At the time I couldn't find a genuine lens that I wanted & I haven't done much research lately to find one. They are gathering dust at the moment but being inspired on just joining this forum I want to breathe new life into them.

Are there any aftermarket brand M frame lenses that you recommend? I may well buy the top Revant lens if there aren't anything better. I just remember struggling to find genuine lenses. I am not a Oakley expert so I am not sure.

There’s a few Oakley M Frame lenses around on here and eBay . You could still buy a strike lens on Oakley UK not to long ago . Think the colour available was Grey . What shape / colour you looking for ? If you’ve hit the target to buy on the forum stick a buying thread up and maybe someone can help out .

I haven't hit the post's yet to see that area. Sticking with the semi mirror style, Heater in grey would scratch the itch on sorting this project. One post in & I already feel these will be back in service soon!

Where you at on the forum ? About 12 days to go and 9 more posts ? If you have the 15 posts in by the time the 2 week period is over put a buying thread up ( you may have to log out and log back in ) and I may have some ( it could take me more than the 12 days to locate them ) if not I know a chap who is not on the forum who has M Frames and lenses aplenty . He may be able to help out . Again so many choices Grey , Black , Slate . Vented none vented . Over the next 12 days have a think what your preference is . Or just keep looking on feebay but tread carefully .

There’s a few members here that custom cut lenses from one frame to fit another so you’re def not down and out if you’re looking for OEM quality lenses

I can hardly believe I have stumbled upon such a resource as this. I would never have thought what you have said was even available for what I want. Thank you very much, that's cool to know

I did not know that . Unfortunately I don’t think we have a lens cutter now that you know who went rogue and upset far to many O Brothers . I’m still recovering from the financial haemorrhage of buying up all the A-Frame 2.0 lenses for cutting .
