In case anyone is interested... here is the real scoop. Jamin has been wanting to do sunglasses ever since the forced sale in 2007 to LUX. We got a couple of the members from the old band together just to have some fun. The first three models were just released and there are quite a few ideas in the works for the future... including some "no rules" models. The idea is to have fun with no pressure to make any numbers. Jamin is running the show and I work for him. There is no delusion about growing this to the moon. The spirit of what we built many years ago seems to have gotten lost? We just want to bring back some of the madness that was so much fun.

Seeing Jim’s post has me stoked to the moon. Again, not saying I’m jumping ship bc I love my oakleys but this is something I can’t wait to be a part of. Especially this “madness” and no rules business. Might end up with some truly amazing sunglasses

It’s about time Lux gets a good back hand. Can’t wait to see what’s in the works. What I want to know is how the new rubber parts stack up to unobtanium as well as the frame material compared to o-matter, c5, etc. I’d also be interested in getting some information on the lenses.

Right now I’m dreaming of M being like Oakley from around 1995 to 2005. I hope M eventually dabbles a bit in Kevlar stuff. Those Kevlar wallets lasted the longest of any wallet Ive ever owned. And they are cool looking.
