In case anyone is interested... here is the real scoop. Jamin has been wanting to do sunglasses ever since the forced sale in 2007 to LUX. We got a couple of the members from the old band together just to have some fun. The first three models were just released and there are quite a few ideas in the works for the future... including some "no rules" models. The idea is to have fun with no pressure to make any numbers. Jamin is running the show and I work for him. There is no delusion about growing this to the moon. The spirit of what we built many years ago seems to have gotten lost? We just want to bring back some of the madness that was so much fun.

Can you imagine how much the gigawatt would be if Lux was doing this? I’d bet $350 … sunglasses are $20-$25 to make for even the best of them and Lux has a 1000% markup on everything… lenses cost $5 to make a set and they sell them for $70… gotta hand it to Jim and his son for giving the product at a non monopolized price margins…
