Just bumping up the listing...

But damn, someone really went to town on that leather!! Looks like they used a "leather soap" and didn't know what they were doing. Soaked up in to the white threading... Or someone was REALLY sweaty when they wore them.. YIKES! Poor things.

I've got the opposite problem with mine, the leather is unused condition, but the AZ weather has ruined the rubber joints... and these can't be repaired without removing the leather!!!! Bugger...

Thanks for the bump! I used an all purpose leather cleaner and moisturizer on them. It's not recommended to soak the glasses, so I could only carefully dab the cleaner, then dab with water to remove access. I assume the threads got some color transfer from that. Before I trimmed the roughness and conditioned the leather, it was more rough than this:
