New Member Here – Excited to Dive into the Oakley World

Just joined the forum, and I'm excited to be part of this community! I’ve always been into sunglasses, but recently, it’s become more than just a casual interest. My uncle passed away a few months ago, and while going through his things, I discovered he had a storage unit filled with vintage Oakleys. It’s like I stumbled upon a hidden treasure trove, and now I’m on a mission to learn everything I can about these classic shades.

Looking forward to connecting with you all and learning from your expertise. If anyone has tips on how to properly care for or even identify some of these older models, I’d really appreciate it!

Haha, thanks! I’ve got to admit, it was a pretty wild find. Still trying to wrap my head around it all, but definitely feeling lucky to have stumbled upon these. Hopefully, I can figure out what to do with them with the help of this awesome community!

@aeh Haha, thanks for the offer! I actually might consider selling some of them since there are just so many—probably more than 500 pairs of various models, including a bunch of Frogskins. I was thinking about maybe selling them in bulk, but I’m not sure if that’s something people are interested in or if it’s even the best way to go about it. I’m definitely open to hearing what you guys think or any advice you might have!
