Hi there, I have 2 and can’t imagine it would be too difficult to paint them? They are not that smooth in surface so paint should take well to them. You could try yourself on the back, if it goes well..carry on. If not you won’t see your attempt when it’s hung up!

Regular paint doesn't adhere the best to x metals. Cerakote is the way to go.
