First post and looking for some help from some Frogskins experts.
I've just bought a pair of early 90s frogs (third I've owned, crystal black with gray lenses). These were sold as new but without the box. I believe the frames to be genuine (plastic hinges, MADE IN USA, frogskins TM) but the lenses rattle like mad and don't fit into the frame at the bottom outside corners.
The seller says this is due to the frames at the time being made in Japan whilst the lenses were made in the US, leading to discrepancies in the sizes. Maybe these are an earlier example than my other pairs as I never had any issues with them and the lenses were solid in the frames.
Does this sound right to anyone?
