Well, actually, just as homes for sale use comparisons, so do collectibles.

So, no, “who gives a f***” does not apply on this forum my friend.

Comparisons are an important part of pricing when it comes to listings.

So, OP, do do better!

The OP is doing fine. He knows what he has. Homes? Bad comparison. Tons on the market with more being built every day. People looking at homes have a lot more choices than collectors in search of mint, complete pairs of glasses that aren’t being produced anymore.

That is right mate!
Nevertheless, as written in my first post, it is OK for me to argue about the price. Done my research and am aware of the fact that my asking price is rather “above average” but as you said, it is also a fact this is a really really rare model…. This one is in 100% original and very good condition. I am not sad if it will not sell and stay with me another 24 years :cool-33:

Price you’re looking for is strong for:

Unmarked lenses & matching box with matching serial.

So need a bit more realistic reasoning applied to get these sold for me.

Well it’s an open market, so the op can sell it for anything he like! he came to the forum of Oakley enthusiasts to find value and found that was to low, so unless there’s a really stupid or desperate buyer, he will hold on to them for the next 25 years

Thanks for your post.

Possible you are right. As mentioned I am open to reasonable offers. Than it is on me do decide whether I should correct my understanding of pricing or not.
