Oakley Plazlink OX8061 04-58

Sorry if this has been asked and answered......I have used the search function and can't find any info.

Came across these Plazlink's while browsing Oakley's RX frame range.......I think they are fantastic looking and would look fantastic with a blue or purple lense fitted.

Any of you knowlegeable gentleman know where I could get sunglass lenses for these.....or is there a compatible sunglass frame that I could buy aftermarket lenses for?

I've heard back from a few of the companies...
Revant, Apex and SunglassFix.

The Aussies have by far the best option......it's FOC, from start to finish. I suppose they are rewarding you for providing the guinea pig frame.

I might just take a chance on the frames......at the very least....it'll be an adventure. S

I have done a boat load of business with Revant. One of the better aftermarket lens makers IMO...

Revant Just got back to me and informed me that they don't/can't do the custom cut service outside of the USA.

I'd say I'll end up shipping them to Oz.

I wonder could I get the vendor to ship them to Oz for me......would probably save 5 - 10 business days.
(I obviously haven't bought these yet)

Have a look through the Oakley website. There are similar frames that will give you far more choice of lenses.

The Flak range is huge as well. You've said you drive for an occupation. When i did a lot more driving, a pair of Flak XL's lived in my car. The XL's give good peripheral coverage. Seconds to change out the lenses for different conditions.
