I bought a oakley torpedo from ebay, but now im super skeptical and weirded out. The watch i bought is the silver dial, i noticed the Oakley logo on the back of the one i bought, the O wasnt as raised as some other examples sold on ebay. Could someone tell me which one is legit or not? I might have scammed myself not doing enough research. Could someone that owns one tell me which is legit or are both and theyre replacement straps.

Nvm, i realized the bottom one is a fake. Hopefully i can get my money back. Wish someone helped me out when I was asking for a legit check. Cheers to losing money

Sorry, I seen your post earlier today, but I don’t have enough knowledge about Oakley watches that I could have provided feedback for you. Try to understand, it’s the holidays and traffic is slow on the forum. Hopefully you can get your money back.

No ones fault but mine. Wanted to get myself a little gift without researching and heres my prize.

Looks like another 'bait and switch'.
Honestly no, its plain right in front of my eyes fake through and through. I just had no idea what to look for on a torpedo until i compared the backs and hour dials to recently sold w/ original box ones. When i realized i made a mistake was about the same time I realized I bought it from Thailand and that should have been my first red flag. So now im more than likely going to pay import duties from that and possibly have no return option. Im so dumb. Lesson learned.

If it’s fake, you should have no problem getting your money back considering the transaction happened on eBay.

Buyer protection does work, if you have met the criterion: which I can't see why you wouldn't have.

small update to anyone that cares, the seller fully refunded me and cancelled the order and i pulled up with proof that its fake. Pretty cool i didnt have to go through the headache of returning it.

Because even the seller doesn’t want to spend money to have you send a fake back. Shipping back to the original destination prob costs more than the fake watch is “worth”
