Potential collab with Oakley!

Hey there everybody, I’m not sure if this is the right column to post this but here it is. I’m a university graduate in London and I studied sportswear. Oakley and a fabric mill called Polartec sponsored my final collection of clothing and essentially gave me a bunch of product to use for photography. I’m a big fan of Oakley and was pleased when they agreed to help support me, but I’m sure there are those among us here who have so much more knowledge than I do.

My question is this, are there any clothing or accessories that you really miss from the past? Any old apparel peices you’d love to see brought back? I design with natural materials primarily and might have the opportunity to collaborate with Oakley for a limited release of pieces, likely only apparel as I doubt they’d open a retro glasses mould for me. Please let me know any ideas I should consider!

Polartec as in the stuff they made a lot of Mountain bike fleeces with ? I had a super cool half zip pullover fleece that was Pace Cycles ( North Yorkshire ) branded . Very nice it was to .

AP everything. Vests, Bags, Pants, etc. The black color with silver hooks is nice, but would have liked more color options.

Yeah! they gave me some merino wool jersey fabric that I made some baselayers with for the collection

Yeah, i had to go through luxottica for the sponsorship, but the work I made looks good, not super Oakely but they work nicely together. Just hoping the PR rep gets back to me soon. I was planning on doing a little brief pack of some designs using retro models to show to them to pique their interest in the deal.

Really would be awesome if you can bring back some previous designs and modernize them.

Honestly it'd be a dream, In truth I'd love to bring back some of their old watches as I love them but I think it'd be a hard sell as the brand is now. The ap collection looks great through, I think id have a good time working on a vest or bag from the range.
