So I have bad feet... it is part genetics but mostly because I crushed my left one into a bag of marbles in a car wreck 18 years ago. The Braindead shoe "looks" comfortable and heavy which I would hope equals stability since my balance is not 100% due to years of surgeries.
As far as shoes go I have required a wide shoe and I wear a 12 in most standard shoes but some brands such as Keen I have to have a 12.5 to 13 and Nike are too narrow in most models. I fit skechers and Kenetrek and even Brooks very well and they are true to size at 12.
With that info how does the BD shoe fit? Is it true to size or do you find you need to order a half or whole size larger like I do with Keen? Are they narrow and tight on the side or do they fit a wide scarred up foot? What other quirks should I consider while ordering my first pair?
How is the comfort compared to skechers which is my current comfortable favorite to wear despite trying out $3-500 shoes that were not as spongy and cozy?
I just want to avoid a $200 mistake if these shoes do not give me my special needs which are to be super comfy with no real pressure and size specs. Give me your thought....
