I agree with this at the moment...if the dude was active, I may change that opinion.

Sometimes PayPal freezes funds for protection reasons (to prevent fraud) if your paypal account is new as its considered high risk for them. I would not worry about it. As long as you ship the watch and keep records of it if thats what Paypal wants you to do you should be fine.
PayPal does what PayPal wants, your opinion , dispute or feedback doesn’t matter one iota. They generally side on the buyer, not the seller from my experience.

Honestly in this case, I would pause this whole transaction, and call up PayPal and see what your options are. If it doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it.

You have an awesome watch, there is no immediate need to take a sketchy deal if you are not comfortable.

For what it’s worth, try and work with the buyer. I was a new person here too once, being new should not be viewed as a negative, technically it’s a blank.

I have had PayPal since 2016 so that doesn't make sense.

I believe it has more to do with activity and number of previous transactions conducted with no issue. You could have a paypal account that is 5 years old and if its never been used or only used once or twice paypal may still do what it did to you. Since the person/member who bought it is a brand new forum member with no history of positive transactions I would say cancel the deal and sell to someone else who is more established on the forum

Like others have said, I’d cancel it and contact the buyer. This whole thing sounds fishy. The buyer just signed up, has only one post, made one purchase and then disappeared. There is no need to risk it. There will definitely be other interested buyers.

It would probably help if @Craigdb could chime in here?
