🦘Romeo 1 Jordan Information Page - At least 11 differences from a normal R1

That 4 digit with a swapped arm makes me cry a bit though. I understand replacing broken parts if you can, but it's no longer a "Jordan" if you've cannibalized it together 🥺

Sadly judging by the condition, they didn't really know what they were doing. maybe had a pair of xx that was in better shape and " take it from these"

not sure what you mean?

Romeo 0001-029142 have squared off hammer stems. if they don't, they have been swapped out.

the ones on ebay that I see are:

083361, 074686 - both higher than 029142 (is my math right?) - rounded stems.

031565 - square stems.
Definitely not swapped, i have to check i think i have a higher serial matching 1st gen box with a rounder stem. I think cody oslo has some jordan serial with round stems as well higher batch.

I've always favored wearing a Jordan frame (4-digit serial) over a regular R1 (6-digit serial). The regular R1 felt bigger/wider and heavier for some reason, so I decided to measure. I don't have a scale that measures anything lighter than 1 lb, but I used a caliper to measure the orbitals of an R1J and Plasma frames. I also have some spare R1J and R1 lenses, so I measured those too.

Found it.

swapped arms. notice one is a square stem and the other looks rounded. and it has some kind of print on the rubbers. If IIRC the rubbers didnt have print on them originally.
that's a very fine distinction you caught. I honestly can't tell the difference

Here are the weight differences, measured each frame 3 times with the same results, and all with size 25 T-Shocks. The Jordan frame is 3 grams lighter than the XM and Ti, but only 2 grams lighter than the Plasma.

You are correct in your measurements. When I first got my 4 digit I got some prizm BIPs cut by the master @Chris A Hardaway and sent him the original lenses for precise measurements on the new cuts. The orbitals are slightly smaller overall and honestly feel better for me to wear. They are slightly lighter and it's noticeable when wearing. Love all my R1s but I daily drive the 4 digit.
