Split/Racing Jacket rubber replacement around the eyes for wind resistance

JC1966

I have some Split Jackets that I wear when riding my Harley and the inner rubber piece that has the wire that you can take out when not riding for wind resistance, those tabs are breaking off holding the rubber part to the wire ( as in the attached photo) I have searched a
online and cannot find these , 1: because I don't know what they are called , and 2: all the search results I get are the rubber earsocks and nose pieces in any search. Does anyone know where to get the rubber pieces without the wire they attach to? my wire pieces is fine but the tabs are breaking off since they are older. These are my main riding glasses

It’s called a gasket, or wind jacket gasket. They come as one piece with the wire. I have a couple, I’ll look and see if I can find them and will let you know

I find the gasket even when new can pop out of that channel. I always wondered if you could just epoxy the rubber to the rim to prevent that issue from happening. I don't use them enough to warrant the experiment, but maybe something to consider if you find a replacement and still want to try to get life out of the old ones.

Ok thanks I might try that, yeah I noticed they always pop out after every ride , but now some of the tabs are breaking off, where they are getting older. I was wondering about gluing them in too but since they are rubber, I didn't know what glue would actually hold them in.
Thanks again
Jeff
