Hi guys, venturing over the the plastics side of the forum. I collect & wear monster dogs but generally stick xmetal. I saw these on eBay and am genuinely curious… is 5k a laughable price or are they actually sound minded?

I am pretty clueless about frog skins so I’ll trust your thoughts… just having a good idea on the xmetal market, this is more than JBR’s/MJ Mars…. So on and so forth.

I don't own any myself, due to the coveted nature of Petersons, One of One and the price. I don't know the pricing, but 5k for a pair of Frogs just seems outrageous.

Some I'd say would be worth 2k plus. Playing favorites for some. That particular one. I wouldn't classify that one in that price category. Speaking in US funds. Anywhere between 1000-2000. However you could catch someone willing to pay more if they're really interested in #2. Cool pair though for sure. 5k is a bit over the top.

Ive owned #17 & #14. Sold em each for around 1500. Pairs like #3 and #4. Potentially #47 would sell for much higher.

The black plastic bags do not match the glasses, none of them did I believe. One would think they could have got that correct. Must have had Lux employee's at the time.

You are correct. It was supposed to be a surprise when you opened them. Wish I was around collecting when they came out. I would have bought a few. Tater frogs rule..

Agreed, had and sold the "fall leaf" tatter, one of the cooler ones, (probably because I owned it) . Looked like the leaf print was inside the plastic.

No i let them go for a price i couldn't refuse. I saw green and said goodbye lol. To be honest id rather let them go to someone who'll put them with others. Rather than in my basement stored away in a case.
