I began my Oakley adventure back in 2018. I was earning little money, but saved up for a custom pair of Radar Evs. They were the first pair I took to Costa Rica during my vacation. It got its first scratch while cleaning with the microfiber bag. I learned later on to never do that. The next pair I purchased were the Clifdens Transparent Blue Frames. They were were not displayed at the store. I asked the Oakley sales clerk if they had any rare pairs of sunglasses. Turns out they had one left in the back. I bought them immediately along with a cleaning kit. These were my second pair and they work best for evening runs. My third pair were my first Ebay purchase Juliets. I got them for $450 from a good seller called make a statement. The lenses came with OEM Fire Iridium, but I bought OEM Rubies for $110. I wanted to put them in the glasses, but my pair were casted in a way the lenses would not fit. I asked around in the forums and @zwc0442 came to the rescue. He restored the frames, changed my lenses, and did a great job making them look brand new. He can confirm the entire sunglasses are OEM. I took those pairs to Bahamas, Mexico, and Honduras on a Cruise in 2022. These sunglasses have history with me and are apart of my life. I finally got a rare Mars. I bought them recently online. I will take them to Domincia Republic this year for another vacation. I want to give a shout out to @ZCForge for his 3D printed display and making my pairs safe from dust. Lastly, thank everyone here for being helpful and earning my trust. I hope to continue to learn more about Oakleys and keep deflating my wallet. The end goal is to collect all xmetal series. For the sake of my bank account I only want one pair of each generation. Romeo 1s are next and I will be on the hunt for them. I appreciate those who read my wall of text. If you want serial numbers let me know and the price I paid for them.
